The Aftermath
Happy New Years!
Hope you all had a great night last night! :)
My new years was spent at work. But it was great fun. The bar was packed (and I mean packed here, you couldnt get in, you could definatly not get out and you wernt able to move. The only ones who moved where us bartenders) from 7pm when I started working. So it was full tempo until 1:30 when I got off work!
Despite this high tempo and being my second day there it went great. I was acutally suprised that I could handle it well. I was like sonic the hedgehog by the end of the night - no lies! One person once told me that there was no way I could manage working behind the bar, but I proved that person wrong last night! ;) Unfortunatly mixing alot of alcohol and being that packed there was alot of fights, robberys and smashed glasses. So the safest place was acutally behind the bar! Behind the bar was where the action was as well. We had the music really loud, me and Ivana danced like crazy with our sparkly hats and sang our hearts out!
After work I joined Danny the bouncer for a bottle of cava outside Fair City. The whole street was croweded and Im sure that there was just as much of a party going on outside the bar as there was inside! Danny was a sweetheart pushing all the annoying assholes away from me (I told you, its best to know a bouncer! Always safe!) and after that I met up with old friends from Australia and Chris. Went to some houseparty at La Ramblas for a bit and then I had to head home. Unfortunatly.
Today is work again, and its mad cuz I just woke up. Maria and Malena where wondering if I was feeling alright cuz I had last nights make-up on me and my hair was super curly from last night. I also just noticed that I stink of smoke (You can smoke in the bar so.. Im an ashtray) and all my clothes from last night are sticky cuz of all the alcohol. So its time for me to head to the showers, then its back to work tonight again! My lunch will have to be a chocolate bar. Illa. I promised to drop by Dannys as well if he needed any help at the door. Haha.
