I just got back from work and man am I tired! I had a double shift last night first from 12-5 and then from 11-03. Got back at around 5 this morning so Im not the most energetic person at the moment. I feel like pulling the covers over me and be completely unsocial for the rest of the night. Being a barmaid and having to stay social all the time does get to you in the end. You just get sick of people you know? I'll be fine tomorrow though - promise!
Despite the double shifts I had a very fun day yesterday. Me and Rashid spent the whole day watching football instead of working. I think we spent maybe 1 hour in total doing "hard" work and the rest was spent watching football and mixing a brand new shot that I have made for the bar! Yepp, so from now on - when you step into O'Haras the first thing you'll see is a big sign saying "Try our brand new shot of the week - Lucky Lizzy only 3 euros!" Its so beautiful. I spent almost 20 minutes on that sign haha. Its a shame Im so cheap though, only 3 euros! Later on my friends big T and Boosh as I call him joined us for some beers and fun. After like round 5 I decided that it was time to pop my cherry - my guinness cherry. Yepp, first time in my life I had a pint of guinness and guess what - Im hooked. Its so amazing! Since I was spending the entire night with my the irish boys I kept drinking my Guinness and my beloved Magners - I think that for a night I became irish? But its okay, we all love the irish dont we! I sure do ;)
Anyway. I finished at 3 and we gatherd the staff from Temple bar, Mybar, Mollys Fair City and little me at O'haras and headed down to club Pipa. The best after hours place in Barcleona! At least for us bartenders. Its this small apartment thats dark, smokey, they play salsa music and there's this massive pool table in the middle. Its hard to explain but the atmosphere was unbelieveable. I would never have found it unless Marko helped me! In order to come in you need to know like an apartment number, door number and that stuff. It's like crashing someone apartment! Haha. So we had a couple of mojitos there and at around 5 I realized that I needed to get back home for work so Danny gave me a lift back home (thank you dearest). And that was my night!
Tonight, like I said, Im gonna be very unsocial with my family and watch movies. Im really not in the mood for family dinners and stuff. I just wanna be alooone for once. Then its time to catch up with things in Sweden with Emmelie and the lot. Gonna try to get a hold of B-Rabbit as well - but thats usually a misson. He basically lives in the studio that kid. Haha.
